There Is No Cure-But You Can Treat T2D

Posted on at

It is a well-known fact that this chronic disease has no known cure and that it causes suffering in people of different ages, and that it reduces years in a person’s quality of life and life-expectancy. In fact, Type 2 diabetes has become a world-wide epidemic, with millions of people all over the world being diagnosed each year, and 220 million people already suffering from its effects.

While there have been numerous technological advances in medicine and in the study of type II diabetes, there had not been a satisfactory treatment found that could revert the disease and prevent all of the complications caused by the disease, nor had there been a satisfactory solution that would keep the disease from developing. Additionally, this is a life-long disease which continues to damage organs and systems in spite of current treatment, and it can go so far as to lead to the sufferer’s premature death.

The good news is that there had not been a satisfactory treatment found until a rather recent discovery

The Discovery:
Bariatric or weight-loss surgery (especially laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery) is what led to the novel discovery that Type II diabetes patients began recovering from the disease to the point where they were no longer insulin dependent. In fact, patients who had been suffering from the effects of type 2 diabetes were found to have reverted to their pre-diabetic condition.

Of course, this peculiarity made it necessary to conduct clinical studies, and it was then discovered that substances called antiincreatins were being produced when food was passing through the first part of the small intestine. It is these substances which are produced in this part of the small intestine that inhibit insulin production and create resistance.

Clinical trials also went on to show that there is a rise in substances called increatins which produce insulin and decrease resistance when food passes through the end of the small intestine. Therefore, by means of metabolic surgery, Type-2 diabetes and its effects can be reverted, complications from the disease can be avoided, and the patient’s life expectancy will increase.

The End Results:
While this is not a new surgery by any means; it was actually used many years ago to treat gastric ulcers, the novelty is in the fact that there have been modifications to the technique so that patients will neither lose weight nor suffer any changes in their digestive process. However, the end result is that the effects of type 2 diabetes are reversed.

This procedure has been done in countries like Costa Rica for more than five years, and it has proven itself to be 90% effective in reverting diabetes. In fact, where Central America is concerned, Costa Rica is at the vanguard in this technique, and the results have been nothing short of wonderful.

How do I know if I qualify for metabolic surgery as a diabetic patient?
You must be between the ages of 16 and 60. If you are not in this age range, you will be reviewed on a case by case basis to determine viability.Your BMI must be 35 or less. If your BMI is greater than 35, then you would probably benefit greatly from gastric bypass surgery, which has been shown to have the same success rates in reversing type 2 diabetes.

You must have elevated glycemia levels during fasting. You must have been diagnosed with diabetes less than 10 years ago. If you were diagnosed more than 10 years ago, your case can be reviewed individually.
Glycosylated hemoglobin must be >7.You must have diabetes mellitus complications. You must not have had major stomach surgery.

If you meet the above-stated conditions then you qualify for metabolic surgery, also known as surgery to reverse type II diabetes, and you need to fill out our easy to use contact form to request a quote and more information. One of our representatives will get back to you shortly and give you all of the information you need.
If you do not meet the above stated conditions but you are a type 2 diabetes patient, fill out the contact form and request a review of your particular case. You can also see whether you qualify for laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery.
