Mother nature can be so powerful, so magnificent and so beautiful at the same time at the same place. When this happens, it means we are talking about a place where the hand of god just touched it and it’s a must place to visit!

Here are 10 places where mother nature brings out the best she can to amaze us and remind us that we are here just visitors and we must keep it clean and beautiful just the way we found it. So Which is your favorite?

1. THE GREAT BLUE HOLE IN BELIZE

If you are into scuba diving, you MUST VISIT this place! The Great Blue Hole is a large underwater sinkhole off the coast of Belize. It is the world’s largest natural formation of its kind, the Great Blue Hole is part of the larger Barrier Reef Reserve System, a World Heritage Site of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In 2012, Discovery Channel ranked the Great Blue Hole as number one on its list of “The 10 Most Amazing Places on Earth”.

2. HITACHI SEASIDE PARK IN HITACHINAKA, IBARAKI, JAPAN

If you are into flowers and colors, you MUST VISIT this place! Welcome to flower paradise. Less than two hours from Tokyo, the Hitachi Seaside Park is a palette of colors, changing from one season to another, making it an all-year-round paradise. In the spring, these baby-blue flowers, called nemophilas, bloom all over the park. It’s as if you’re standing in the middle of powdery blue goodness. 

3. MENDENHALL ICE CAVES OF JUNEAU IN ALASKA, UNITED STATES

If you are into deep blue frozen places, you MUST VISIT this place! The Mendenhall ice caves in Alaska exist only because a glacier is melting and as you can guess, glaciers don’t keep on melting forever so you better hurry up!

4. SEA OF STARS ON VAADHOO ISLAND IN THE MALDIVES

If you are into magical night on the beach, you MUST VISIT this place! This famous group of islands are known for being a heaven on Earth for its beaches, but Vaadhoo Island’s magic revealed at night. The mesmerizing shining water looks like a mirror, that reflects the sparkling stars above. However, the secret is this: phytoplankton – the marine microbes – are bioluminescent and emanate the blue glow. The species create the most romantic natural lighting in the world.

5. TROLLTUNGA IN HORDALAND, NORWAY

If you are into great hiking, then you MUST VISIT this place! Trolltunga is one of the most spectactular scenic cliffs in Norway. Trolltunga  is situated about 1100 meters above sea level, hovering 700 metres above lake Ringedalsvatnet in Skjeggedal. The view is breathtaking. The hike goes through high mountains, takes 8-10 hours in total (to Trolltunga and return) and the ascent is about 900 meters.

6. TUNNEL OF LOVE IN KLEVAN, UKRAINE

If you are into romance, then you MUST VISIT this place. The Tunnel of Love is a beautiful spot in Klevan, Ukraine. A three kilometer railway section leads to the fibreboard factory. The train goes three times a day and delivers wood to the factory. However, the trees make a green corridor, which attracts many couples, as well as photographers for its eye catching avenue. It is said that if you and your beloved come to the Tunnel of Love and sincerely make a wish, it will come true.

7. SALAR DE UYUNI IN THE POTOSÍ AND ORURO DEPARTMENTS OF SOUTHWEST BOLIVIA

Id you are into salty desert landscapes, then you MUST VISIT this place! Salar de Uyuni in southwest Bolivia is the world’s largest salt flats. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar.

8. ANTELOPE CANYON IN ARIZONA, UNITED STATES

If you are into amazing canyons, you MUST VISIT this place! Antelope Canyon is extremely beautiful, with just the right combination of depth, width, length, rock color and ambient light; many other slot canyons are deeper, narrower or longer, and some have rock that is even more colorful and sculptured, but here conditions are ideal.

9. BAMBOO GROVES OF ARASHIYAMA IN KYOTO, JAPAN

If you are into huge bamboo groves, then you MUST VISIT this place. The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is one of Kyoto’s top sights and for good reason: standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in another world. It is an ideal place for pictures but no picture can capture the feeling of standing in the midst of this sprawling bamboo grove – the whole thing has a palpable sense of otherness that is quite unlike that of any normal forest we know of.

10. GLOWWORM CAVES IN WAITOMO, NEW ZEALAND

If you are into creepy glowing worms, then you MUST VISIT this place! World renowned and a magnet for both local and overseas visitors, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves occupy a high placing in the New Zealand vacation wish-list.  Thousands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light. Waitomo Glowworm Caves are a must see for any traveler.
