Eleven new companies submitted their expression of interest (EOI) to participate in the franchise-based 3rd edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), which starts in November this year.
The new companies are DBL Group, Sohana Group of Industries, Beximco Group, BBS Cables, Blues Communication, Networld Bangladesh Ltd, Mediacomm (Square Group), Index Group, Bengal Communications, AXIOM Technology Ltd and Fiber@home Limited.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that six teams will compete in the ensuing BPL.
