There are two things Pakistanis love more than their tea, cricket and celebrating – and when it comes to Eid, Pakistanis do it their own special way.
From the food to the outings, Eid in Pakistan is a mean of leaving all your trouble behind. This is how every Pakistani almost spends their Eid.
1. Wake up early in the morning and begin dressing up
2. Men make their way to the mosque to offer Eid prayers..
3. Whilst the women stay home and prolong the term “getting ready”
4. When the men come home, there’s a hug-ception in every house
5. The women then prepare food and typically, Sheer Khurma
6. The kids enthusiastically wait for their Eidi
7. Just before the parents take it away from them
8. Take the cameras, the phones out – time to pose for selfies
9. The guests then come over with sweets and sweet words
9. Everyone in the family is dressed in the same color
10. After lunch, there’s usually a family tea session
11. All this, followed by a family outing for the perfect Eid
