Most 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedans will come with a 3.8-liter V-6 that produces 311 hp and 293 lb-ft of torque. Those looking for more power should consider the 5.0-liter V-8 rated at 420 hp and 383 lb-ft. Both engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission while all-wheel drive is available only on the V-6. Fuel economy is respectable in rear-drive V-6 models at 18/29 mpg city/highway, while opting for all-wheel drive drops those numbers down to 16/25 mpg. Eight-cylinder models are not as fuel efficient and are rated at 15/23 mpg, which is less than some of its competitors offering the same or more power.
