The Chinese government was optimistic about achieving a 7 per cent target of its economy’s growth in 2015. But unfortunately China's economy grew 6.9 per cent in 2015 and it is the slowest growth for the world's second-largest economy since 1990. It is reported that the economy grew 6.8 per cent in the fourth quarter of last year, down from 6.9 per cent in the third and 7 per cent in the first two quarters.
