Three Bangladeshis were killed and two others injured in a road accident in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday morning.
Bangladeshi ambassador to the UAE, Mohammad Imran confirmed the news to Prothom Alo over phone on Thursday.
He said the vehicle carrying five Bangladeshi workers crashed into a roadside establishment in between Al Ain and Al Khajna of Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Two of them died on the spot and another died on way to hospital, he added.
He informed the correspondent that the injured are being given treatment at a local hospital.
According to UNB, the deceased are Mohammad Farhad, Mohammad Elias, and Akter Hossain.
The embassy officials have already talked to the families of the victims in Bangladesh and the bodies would be sent back home after necessary formalities, UNB adds.
