Throughout October we will be featuring videos presented by Beth Israel Medical Center and Dr. Susan K. Boolbol, Chief of the Breast Cancer Surgery in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each video will share tips about how to prevent cancer as well as what to do if you are diagnosed with it.

In Day 7's video of the 31 Days of Breast Cancer Discovery,  "Listen to the Answers", Dr. Boolbol explains that when you visit your doctor, it is advisable that you bring someone with you. That way if emotions or panic prevents you from fully listening to your doctor, someone else can also listen to the facts and help you understand the next steps. She also says that after you listen to your doctor, ask whatever questions you still have.
