Four workers were injured as a cylinder burst at Shital Enterprise shipbreaking yard at Kumira of Chittagong’s Sitakunda on Saturday morning.
The injured are Moksedul Alam, 26, Mohammad Nadim, 25, Al Amin, 20, and Mohammad Shahjahan, 12.
They have been admitted to the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of Chittagong Medical College Hospital. 
Doctors at the department said Moksedul is sustaining 30 per cent burn injury, Amin and Nadim are sustaining 24 per cent, while Shahjahan has 20 per cent of his body burnt in the incident. 
Rejina Islam, registrar of the department, said who are sustaining more than 20 per cent burn injury, are considered in critical condition. 
Mohammad Shahjahan told Prothom Alo the gas cylinder burst and caused fire when they were cutting body of a ship.
