5 Ways to Burn Calories Throughout the Day

There are many different ways you can burn calories. I will just be going over just a few that I personally do to burn calories throughout the day.

1.) Fidget

Someone who fidgets throughout the day will definitely burn more calories than someone who does not fidget. Play with your hair, tap your foot, and twiddle your fingers. It burns calories! 

2.) Chew Gum

Chewing gum will not burn a ton of calories in a day, but you would be surprised on how many calories you could burn chewing gum overtime. Try to chew gum that has very few calories.

3.) Stand Up

Standing up burns more calories than sitting does. Find things to do while standing up. For example, instead of sitting down while folding your laundry, stand up and do it. 

4.) Walk

Walk around while you're talking on the phone instead of sitting down. After going grocery shopping, carry in your groceries one-by-one. You will take more steps, which means you will burn more calories.

5.) Breathe

Everything that we do burns calories, including breathing. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth throughout the day. Inhaling and exhaling will also boost your metabolism.

Those are just a few ways you can burn calories throughout the day.
