79-Year-Old Grandma Who Went Missing Was Found Getting Her First Tattoo
When Tony Sellers came to visit his mother at Daleview House, a care home for the elderly, she was nowhere to be found. The 79-year-old grandmother of 11 left the premise without notice and headed to Tattoo Studio 76. Turns out, the grandmother “escaped” her elderly care home to get her first tattoo!
When asked what her family would think, Sellers replied “I don’t f***ing care. When you get to my age, you just have to live life to the full every day.” She went on to tell the Mirror, “I asked the fella how long it would take and he said it had finished five minutes ago. I never felt a thing. He just laughed at me.”
Sellers is a former civil servant in Northern Ireland. Her son Tony, 57, is a truck driver and has 8 tattoos; his daughter, Samantha, 22, is also tattooed.

Son Tony recounts, “I just couldn’t believe it. I went in all I saw was three big lads in their 20s, covered in tattoos, and there in the middle was mum getting one herself”
“She’s normally very prim and proper but she does sometimes swear like a sailor behind closed doors”
