The Clásico against Real Madrid attracted the biggest Camp Nou crowd of the present campaign.
Sunday’s attendance of 98,760 spectators for the game with Real Madrid was the biggest turnout at the Camp Nou so far this season. A Clásico is always a grand occasion, but with the two teams locked in a head-to-head battle for the Liga title, there was all the more reason to ensure the game was played before a full house.
For the second time this season, and also for the second time this week, over 90,000 seats were filled, the Champions League game with Manchester City on Wednesday night also having produced a mammoth response from the fans. Until today, the biggest crowd for a Liga game this season was that for the 26th game of the season against Rayo Vallecano.
