I was standing at the bottom of the staircase where I live and I was on the phone talking to my son. The phone call got quite heated between me and my son, and we were having a disagreement about something important. As I stood at the bottom of the staircase, I saw a towel flying up in the air from where it was hanging on the banister rail. It was freaky to see it move on it's own! Now, I am not crazy, but I am aware of spirits at times when they are around me.

At first, I thought there was a window or a door opened somewhere, but then I checked and all the windows were shut. As, I was talking on the phone to my son, I felt a cold breeze fly by me and I looked up towards the staircase to see the towel leap from the banister rail, flying upwards on it's own. At that moment, a thought of my mother and my brother, who have already passed on, came into my mind. My brother (my son's uncle) was very close to my son. I don't know why this was happening. I wondered, if they had been trying to give me a sign by moving the towel, which had been hanging on the banister rail upstairs. I could see it fly upwards and I felt something around me at the bottom of the stairs. Do you think it was a ghost?

I have a feeling that one of my family members who have passed on came to visit me for comfort. I have often spoken out aloud asking them to visit me and to give me a sign. So, I think this was a sign of them being here.

What do you believe? What are you thoughts on this matter? Do you believe I was visited by my mother or brother or even my father who has recently passed on? Perhaps, all three of them came to see me.
