I grew up playing marbles with the neighborhood kids and I have fond memories of beating

all the boys in my street who were usually the pros in marble competitions. 
This is a recent picture of kids playing marble games on the streets,

the last thirty years of war ( in comparison to my childhood) has left our children in isolation and

there seems to be a segregation between the two genders even in childhood. This was

not the norm in my days!
Where are the little girls?
