Math is a really fascinating subject as either we get it or we don't get it. I figure that we need a post on the lighter side of life today and here it is.

Teachers tell us when we do our math in school to show our work. Otherwise we won't get full credit for our answers. We need to learn the math the right way after all.

One student turned in their paper and there was no work shown. The teacher told the student that they should show their work.

The student took out a calculator and showed the teacher how they got to their answers.

The teacher was aghast about this. Obviously that's not the proper way to learn how to do math, even though that's the way most people do it when they enter the real world.

"Just doing it the way my parents taught me, m'am" the student commented.
