Now this movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw it way back when I was about 12 years old and ever since then I couldn't stop watching it. The movie has a certain charm to it from the music to the sets to an awesome performance from Kurt Russel of the cocky Jack Burton and off course the great action sequences.

 

This movie is directed off course by the one and only John Carpenter, one of my favorites and certainly one of the 80's best filmmakers. Now coming back to "Big Trouble in Little China" the movie just has something special, its overall atmosphere has a certain charm because its a fun movie to watch, it has comedy, action, drama and as usual a killer sound track that is composed by Carpenter himself. The story is fairly simple and easy to follow, as Jack is a truck driver and he passes through china town meets his friend who has to pick up his girlfriend from the airport, so Jack drives his friend to the airport when suddenly the girl they are there to pick up gets kidnapped, and the fun starts from there ! from magic to three awesome evil guys that show up, its just a treat.

 

This movie is overlooked by most people and even back then in 1986 it wasn't a hit but to me this movie is very special.
