Both the by-elections that is the Lok Sabha constituency poll of Bongaon and the Krishanganj assembly seat have been won by the ruling Trinamool Congress Party of the state. The party has even increased its margin of victory in both the seats. So it seems that the ruling party has not been impacted by the Saradha scam which is a multi-crore Ponzi scheme.
