It was very hot day. Sun was on his peak and we were feeling that it was very close to earth. The earth seemed to be burning. Everyone was perspired from head to foot. All the creatures were being worried and were seeing to the sky with hopeful glances. People were going towards pools to take bath. Flowers were also withered away with hotness. People prayed for rain in Mosques.

“Rain, Rain, Rain, come again and again, 
In the winter, in the summer and in spring, 
Come with joy, fall with happiness and go with sorrow, 
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain come to relive earth's pain, 
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make nature happy, 
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make livings happy, 
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Rain, Rain, Rain don't go away, 
Rain, Rain, Rain i hope you will stay, 
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again”.

       Suddenly, wind blew. Thick and dark clouds covered the sky in no time. This made all the creatures happy and joyful. Children started making noise in the streets. At first it began to drizzles and then it came down in big drops. I enjoyed the rain very much. People made different types of delicious dishes in the houses. It rained heavily for three hours.

“How heavy fell the rain that day 
From burdened clouds of mournful grey. 
The torrent forced them stay their height - 
Composure swayed by onerous might”.

 Soon the streets were filled with water. They were presenting scene of canals. Water was deep up to knees. Boys enjoyed it very much. They floated paper boats in it. The air became cool and pleasant. Rain absorbed the hotness of environment and weather became ideal. Flowers were also tossing their heads with joy. The entire creature became glad full and enjoyed the weather a lot. Trees became fresh and washed. Streets became muddy and slippery.

       Suddenly a fatty man who was walking along the road slipped and fell down. It was a funny scene. All the kids, playing in the street laughed at him and made fun of him. He tried to stand up but he failed, so someone helped him to stand up.

      After rain rainbow appeared on sky, it was presenting a pleasant sight.

Boys were dancing in street while girls were enjoying the swings. That day was a perfect day that brought smiles on each and every face. After that rainy day it rained again and again but I could not forget that day.
