Blackpool Zoo is a tourist attraction in UK that is completely family friendly. It was opened in the year of 2011. The zoo is situated just about 2 miles interior to Promenade. This zoo is easily accessible by the M55 motorway. The zoo remains open daily only except the Christmas Day. It is opened from 10 am in the morning. The closing time of the zoo generally varies seasonally.The zoo is not cheap and I must admit that. But the real fact is that it is worthy and it provides value for money. You can get discount coupons if you buy ticket early.
Entrée fee
The park charges £15.50 for adults and £11 for children. But if you buy tickets online, then you would get the ticket at £13.95 for adults and £9.90 for children. We bought tickets online hence we got some discounts.

The Blackpool zoo is the home-place for more than 1000 animals, invertebrates, reptiles and birds. The place is of serene nature, with spacious lawns, lakes, mature trees and seems like that mother-nature has poured all her love to this place.You would be happy to know that it is a very good place for the kids as they can ran and have fun and the kids as well as the parents like us can burn off the surplus energy by running and enjoying in the lap of the nature. Now-a-days our kids do not play much, but this place is really a motivation to run and do activities in the lap of mother-nature.
The popular animals that can be seen in this Blackpool zoo are zebras, camels,orangutans,gorillas,sealions,giraffes,elephants,big cats and many more to see.
The zoo has opened a Children’s farm also. This farm allows hands-on with sheep, donkeys, goats as well as the reindeers. It is undoubtedly a great place for activity for the children.
Outstanding day-out spot with family
The Blackpool zoo is really awesome for a day-outing with your family. We went on a holiday. The spot was really amazing. But I would like to advise others that try to reach early because as time passes the zoo becomes crowded and too busy.
There is an amazing sea lion show and you must watch it when you visit the zoo.
Even good for the disabled persons
I went with one of my friend. He had with him a mobility scooter. He did not face any problem roaming the entire zoo with his mobility scooter. This is one of the great aspects in this zoo as it can allow the persons with disabilities to get entertained unlike most of the other parks and zoos.
Most amazing moment
We were very excited when we saw the monkeys in front of us. Our kid was scared but later he played with the monkeys and enjoyed a lot. Even we had problem to return back to home as our kid was too happy in the zoo.
Lastly, I must say that the day was amazing in the circle of the mother-nature.
