A unique country with 13 months of sunshine

Do you hear a country with 13 months calender anywhere else in the world?If you answer Ethiopia,then you are correct.Ethiopian is country which have a unique calender.The calender is 8 years behing the gregorian calender so that now in Ethiopia it is 2004(2012 in GC).There are many reasons why this has happened but most scholars argue that this calender is mainly related with the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.

In Ethiopia the new year starts in September and ends in August but one complete year consists of 13 months.I have listed them below in the locally spoken language Amharic.
