The video was posted by the rescuer of the dog on September 24 on his Facebook page. It is learnt that the stray dog that is pregnant was wandering into a sinkhole that was open for three weeks in the Russian city of Voronezh. On September 18, housing authorities of the city closed the sinkhole up without realizing that the dog was still inside. The poor dog was barking helplessly but the passers by either failed to hear it or did not care to respond to the cry of the dog. But it was really a lucky one because someone stood by and tried to understand where the sound was coming from. As soon as he realized that it was coming from underground, he asked city officials for help. But unfortunately the city officials refused to dig a second opening to let the poor dog out. The person then decided to rescue the trapped dog himself and finally the dog was dug out from under the pavement where it had been buried for two days. The video shows that the lucky dog is seen wagging its tail in joy as it exits its prison of two days. The person deserves thanks from all of us.
