”literature is a study of life”, and study of any thing demands observation. As for literature, observation with inner eye is a must. Same was the purpose behind the three day tour to Lahore, and also to enable us to have an opportunity of seeing equity of civilization and culture. This study tour started on 24 November
We departed from or college at 2:00 P.M. We had our lunch near T.I.P rather late. We started our journey in a light shower but when we reached Rawalpindi, it was raining heavily. Although all of us were gladin our warm clothes. Yet we were shivering with cold after that rain. We reached Jhelum at about 11:00 P.M. We dined simply at a driver’s hotel. We preferred to continue our journey. After travelling the whole night, we entered Lahore, early in the morning. We had our breakfast there.
All of us offered our fajar prayers in the “Shahi Mosque”. Our first sight was “Minar-e-Pakistan” with its top covered with mist. Then our bus started for the “new campus”. We stayed in the “student-Teacher Centre” and took rest there for a few hours. Then, we went to “jalo Park”. There was a zoo with its some what natural atmosphere for animals. After spending some time over there we left for the historical “Shalimar bagh”

the said “bagh” was divided into two parts namely, Farkh Bakhsh and faiz Bakhsh. The fountains of the garden reminded us of Coleridge’s following lines:
        “A mighty fountain moemently was forced!
         Amid whose swift half-intermittent burst
          Huge fragments vaulted like rebounding hail,
         Or chaffed grain beneath the thresher’s flail:’’
We left that with memories and turned our bus to “anarkali” Bazar. We had around of that and then our supper at a hotel and returned to New campus. We reached there at about 12-30 A.M. and went to sleep in
Next morning we got up, had our breakfast and according to our set program, visited “Mazar-e-iqbal” and offered fatiha. We were greatly impressed by the historical “Shahi Qila” and the glory of the past. Students shown keen interest in there historical buildings. “sheesh Mahal” was a thing to see again and again.

Museum of Lahore is certainly a place worth-seeing, we spent almost 4 hours in seeing it
The next day was fixed for Bagh-e-Jinnah, Race course, Gulshan-e-iqbal and Al-hamra. After visiting all these places, we watched a play in Al-hamra and enjoyed it very much. We went back to the new campus and went to sleep. The next day was a home journey. After travelling for several hours, we reach back our College at 10:00 P.M. the same day,
