This is the 'Autographer'.

An Ad for this strange little camera caught my attention while reading a tech blog so I decided to take a quick look.
To be honest though, I found it a bit baffling. Its an automatic camera, that you wear around your neck and it takes random pictures whenever it likes for you... which would be fantastic except I cant think of any situation where I would want hundreds of random uncreative pictures of whatever happened to be in front of me at the time.

Who is this for???
Is it the 'instagram' crowd? I don't think so, all the people I know who regularly use instagram seem to be doing it for the creativity. Yes the sharing is an important part of it, but HOW you are sharing it is often more important than WHAT you are sharing. The Autographer seems to want to serve the same purpose, sharing your life with others online, but without any creativity involved at all. 

What do you think? Am I missing the point here?
