The report submitted by Nagaland government to the Union home ministry on the lynching of a rape accused in Dimapur in the state claims that the deceased accused of raping had not raped the victim, the sex between him and the victim being consensual. The accused paid Rs 5000 to the victim after two sexual encounters. Hope there would be further investigation for confirmation of the report.
