ACHAARI DAAL
Today I am going to share with you a very spicy and sour recipe that is ACHAARI DAAl. You can use any pulse you want but i will use CHANNA/CHICKPIE Daal. Give a try to this recipe this is very delicious recipe I hope you will enjoy!!!!
INGREDIENTS
- Chana daal 1 cup boiled
- Achaar/mango pickle 3-4 table spoon
- Onion 2 sliced
- Tomatoes 2 ripe
- Ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon
- Red chilli powder 1 table spoon
- Turmeric powder ½ table spoon
- Green chillies 3-4
- Green coriander 1 bunch
- Dry coriander powder 1 table spoon
- All spices powder 1 table spoon
- Cumin seeds 1 table spoon
- Cardamom 1
- Cloves 3-4
- Cinnamon 2 sticks
- Oil 4/5 table spoon
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- In oil add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon let them to pop.
- Add onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, achaar/mango pickle, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry till oil leaves the sides of pan.
- Now add boiled Daal and fry for 5-10 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of water, sprinkle chopped coriander, green chillies and cover the pan on slow flame.
- Turn off the flame sprinkle all spices powder and dry coriander.
- Serve with rice ,chapatti/paratha and salad.
