Afghanistan national cricket team will qualify for 2014 twenty over’s world cup.
In this world cup would play 16 team in which involve 10 full membership team (India, Bangladesh, UK, Austarlia,west indes, srilanka, Pakistan, south Africa, zembaboi, )but other 6 teams will be from second rank teams .
ICC(International Cricket Council)has held a tournament in sharga city to selected these 6 teams .in this tournament participate 16 teams which divided by tow groups A and B in each group 8 teams play . the team which could to get the first position in his group this team directly qualify to 2014 twenty over’s world cup which will be hold in Bangladesh country.
Afghanistan play in B group with Netherland, Kenya, Nepal, Denmark, Scotland, PNG, and Bermuda.
Ireland, Hong kong, United Arab Emirates, Candada,Uganda, United state of America , Namibia and Italy countries are play in A group.
Afghanistan had first match with Netherland but Afghanistan loosed the match, but afghan team defeated Scotland in second match.
In the third match afghan team faced with papu New Guinea which made 172 runs in 20 over’s but due to rains the match Impairs decided that Afghan team should get 69 runs in 7 over’s to win the match which but afghan team played very well and won the match by 7 wickets.
Also Afghanistan cricket national team defeated to Bermuda and Denmark.
Afghanistan had fifth match with Nepal which called the stronger team in B group but Afghanistan achieved the big success.
In this match Afghanistan won the Toss and selected the field but there was raining so the match is suspended for four hours due to the rain. In the last the twenty over’s match is decreases to the 7 over’s and Nepal made 73 runs by three wickets.Mirawais Ashraf took two wickets and shapoor zadran took one wicket.
But Afghanistan had the good start their players played very well they played very quickly and won the match by 9 wickets.
Now Afghanistan has the first position in B group. Afghanistan has final match with Kenya but afghan team looks stronger, because last month Afghanistan defeated Kenya and qualified to 2015 fifty over’s world cup. So enshallah afghan team will again defeat Kenya and directly go to twenty over’s world cup.
