The New Year is coming and the New School Year begins soon. I want share my knowledge about Afghanistan Culture, that our people celebrate it. New Year celebration is one of the oldest remains of antiquity. Time of New Year celebration is at the beginning of spring. According to tradition, the festival is held for one week. A few days before people are ready to begin the festivities. New Year celebrations in Afghanistan include: Jashan Melay Gul Surkh (Rose Festival) a special celebration in Mazar-e-Sharif in the first 40 days and roses grow on the occasion of played.
During these 40 days, people from everywhere to attend this celebration come to Mazar. The event coincides with the celebration of Zhanda Ali perforemed. The ceremony of hoisting a flag that the color combination is similar Kaviani and Nominated to Zhanda-e- Sakhi. And also our people playing BUZKASHI, Local Dance (Atan), Playing Kite, Full of fun and so on.
Jashan Dehqan (Farmer Celebrates) another celebrations of Nowruzy in Afghanistan is (Farmer Celebrates). That the first day New Year is done. Farmers coming to town and their products exhibit. In recent years, the ceremony is performed only in Kabul, some other large cities and even senior government figures are also watching.
Samanak: Women are through the night get special occasion for Samanak , And from late afternoon until the next morning while they are cooking and they repeat this theme song, Samansk the boil, we're Kafchha, others sleep, we're Dafchha and it become ready for eating.
Haft Mewa (Seven fruit) in Afghanistan prepare to replace the haft seen people pay seven fruits. Haft Mewa (Seven fruits) in a fruit salad is something like, which consists of seven different types of dried fruit. The Haft Mewa (seven fruits) is: Raisin, measures, pistachios, hazelnuts, dried apricots, and plums Chharmghz(Wall nut).
