Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s big bash return on the silver screen

After getting married with Abhishek Bachchan, former Miss World Aishwarya Rai somewhat vanished from the silver screen. Soon they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Aaradhya. This also hampered Aishwarya’s comeback as she had to leave Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Heroine” in mid way, which ultimately went to Kareena Kapoor. The industry then was a little upset on her unprofessional behavior, as she didn’t think of her work commitments and planned on having a baby.

But all this is past now as the new age “Umraojaan” is busy shooting to get back in the silver screen.  There are no two words in the industry on how the star couple has a very strong connection with each other. They admire one another’s work and as a result Abhishek Bachchan helped her wife Aishwarya to grab the lead role in Sanjay Gupta’s next venture, “Jazbaa”.

Director Gupta divulged in an interview where he shared the information that he has also signed Anupam Kher for a very important role in this movie. The fans will be treated twice as much as they have bargained for because they won’t just witness Aishwarya’s comeback but will also see her re-uniting with Anupam Kher after a period of nearly 10 years. Both of them last seen together in “The Mistress of Spices”, which was released in the year 2005 under the direction of Paul Mayeda Berges.

It was in the reports that the director has also signed John Abraham and Irrfan Khan for “Jazbaa”. He has even confirmed that Aishwarya, Irrfan and John will be the main leads in his movie. There are also rumors that “Jazbaa” is a remake of a South Korean movie. The news about that the rights of the foreign film may be bought gives this movie an official remake tag. Aishwarya will be seen playing the role of a lawyer where as John is casted as a gangster.

Sanjay Gupta wanted to work in this project with Aishwarya from the very beginning and with a little help from Abhishek, he managed to convince her so that she goes through the script. Thanks to Abhishek that Aishwarya will now be seen making a comeback in the silver screen after a long gap.
