The Ajmer sheriff dargha in Ajmer the holiest city in the country where both Hindu and Muslim come to pay their visit. It is the home to the famous dargha or mausoleum of Sufi saint Khwaja Moin-ud-Din chisti. Ajmer is the historic city located 135 km from Jaipur and is nestled at the base of Aravali mountain ranges.

There are tourists from the world that visit the magnificent fort, beautiful lakes, the olden age museums and the palaces. Ajmer a centre of Rajasthan is popular know for its culture. Ajmer played a key role in the history of Rajasthan, as it has tactically and politically been an important state for the rulers.

The dargha has always been the place to visit for the film stars and politician. It has a saying prayer with your true heart and ask for a wish it shall be granted. This dargha being situated at the foots of the Taragarh hills, consists of several white marbles building arranges around two courtyards. The massive gate is donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and Akbari mosque that was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Akbar and his queen used to travel to this holy dargha open foot from Agra every year in observance of a vow which he had prayed for his son.
