CHAPTER 10

They danced away going further into the crowd of Irish still talking on the matter of their great ancestors.

"There's one more cousin you should know about darling Kate- a distant cousin- Anthony THORELL, he's from the Tarantula family too. Like the other members of the Tarantula family cousin Anthony THORELL was quite a bit of a show off."

"Where are they now? Are the cousins THORELL still alive, and if so why haven't they came for a visit?" Kate inquired.

"Yes there are some members of the THORELL family left, except for cousin Anthony THORELL who was discovered dead in his condominium some years ago. I think it was a stroke that took him. As for the other living members of the THORELL family, well, you see Kate my dear, our spider cousins the THORELL'S thoght themselves to be better than the other family members of the spider pack, and so therefore they keep at a great distance from the family. So through the years we've erased them from our better judgement and mind."

Kate TROMBICULA covered her mouth in surprise; she smirked behind cupped hands and Charles resumed telling about aunt Diana WALCKENAER to more of Kate's liking and surprise.

"I often heard a story from my parents and the great old grand parent spiders that a few of aunt Diana WALCKENAER'S mates were fortunate to escape her once she became tired of their company and for those who weren't so fortunate in escaping her aunt Diana WALCKENAER turned into insect soup." a slight chuckle escaped Charles lips.

"Oh my lord, how terrible she was! Great old aunt Diana WALCKENAER." Kate TROMBICULA stated.

The couple danced on through the crowds; Kate's perfect index spider fang teeth displayed just a slight peek, they were hauntingly beautiful. Her spider fangs shined as bright and they were white as the smallest white cloud, and so did her date Charles WALCKENAER. The crowd of happy-go-lucky ball dancers parted for the couple immediately. Charles twirled Kate around in his arms playful, the two of them kept in step to the music. Kate TROMBICULA'S pretty little mouth made an O expression of great surprise as she looked about the Irish dancers as if she wondered if they knew of such an most disgusting and great aunt Diana WALCKENAER? Oh, but of course she knew that none of them really did not know her, at all. And then one week after the ball, ARANHA and Pisces returned from their honeymoon the blushing and happily married couple and we welcomed them home merrily.

We crowded around them like a flock of birds does at a feast. Then, the staff served us wine in the finest spider goblets and as we enjoyed wine ARANHA and Pisces filled us in on the fun things they did while on their honeymoon and in between that we were served delicious appetizers, all vegetarian. At that time the other family members of the spider pack arrived and joined in with us in welcome and celebration for ARANHA and Pisces inside the luxurious lounge inside the pale-grey LATRODEUS palace. Everyone was there except for ARATA SICARIIDAE, I was the only one that knew where ARATA said she would be. ARATA said she would be waiting for Pisces when he returned home to the palace, the WALCKENAER'S house; the palace was the best of all the large, glamorous homes- the log cabin homes of the THERIDIIDAE'S was comfortable and the homes were kept in the best of care by the house maids and there was other staff throughout. Regardless of his bride ARANHA WALCKENAER, ARATA would wait for him inside the elegant castle in her bedroom. So, I went there all alone hoping I could convince her otherwise.
