CHAPTER 24
A small group of spiders stood around at TRISH THERIDIIDAE'S place in the back yard of the cabin talking about what's to come in Nor Marie. They were drinking some too, only a little bit, they didn't want to become drunk, it was a week day.
"Hey, good riddance to the vampires," TRISH was so glad to be rid of the awful southern white spirit vampires.
"Another ally is coming, it's packs stronger and more dangerous and deadlier than the vampire." Kerry Lucas warned.
"I know the werewolves, we'll destroy them too." Hilton TROMBICULA mouthed courageously.
"The battle with werewolf will be harder than it was with vampire. The werewolf is this big voracious wild killer beast, that's part man-part wolf. There's no other way to destroy werewolf unless we use weapons like rifles or fire guns with silver bullets in them to blow them away." Kerry Lucas told them.
"I know, but there could be another way, we'll just have to find it." Hilton TROMBICULA said.
"No, that's the best way to destroy a werewolf," Kerry Lucas responded.
"Well then..." replied Audrey WALCKENAER. Audrey was a short and puny thing, her hair is bright, Auburn-red with a cute face; Audrey raised her spider goblet and the other spiders did the same. "Here's to spiders having victory over the werewolves, when that time comes." she smiled peaceful.
"Cheers!" the spiders toasted silently, they clinked their spider goblets quietly.
"Hooray spiders..!" TRISH boasted proud and then raised her spider goblet a second time for another toast, and the group toasted again.
"You seem very happy today, what's up?" Ben Lucas wanted to know.
"I got my job back as waitress at the old shack house." TRISH was smiling from cheek to cheek, her index spider fang teeth gleamed.
"What, you're not worried about the werewolves invading Nor Marie and killing us out?" Ben inquired serious, he seemed troubled.
"Don't worry, we're going to get rid of them too, look what spiders done to the southern white spirit vampires."
"Yeah, we got them good." Ben remarked, flashing a mouth full of pretty teeth, his index spider fang teeth made his teeth look extra good.
"The werewolf lose, spider wins!" Kerry cheered like she was a cheerleader.
"I'll catch up with you all later, alright." TRISH smile sizzled.
"Alright, where, in the forest?" Hilton asked. The group had began to spread out and head toward their places, all except for TRISH who was already at home.
"No, I thought we'd hang around the square after I came from work. I started this evening, it's from four to ten." TRISH replied in between heading toward the cabin.
"We'll see you there." Audrey WALCKEANER said and then they left.
We were glad when TRISH kept her promise about meeting on the square and hanging out there. We enjoyed small talk about the most popular girl in high school and she was one of the spider pack with us, Tabatha Lucas. We snacked on junk food and drink sodas. A couple of the other spiders seated off from us on granite rock in a larger group, and they drink red bull, it was amazing that red bull gave one a burst of energy and it made you have higher intelligence and not that we needed it, because spider was smart. To me, each time I drink red bull, it was like it gave me a high, and a few of the other spiders said they had felt the same. It was a school night so we left the square at eleven thirty and went home.
