The year is 1960, great Auntie ARANHA WALCKENAER was about to become married to the spider priest Pisces. We live underneath the coffee beam ground of Dublin Ireland in a small, hauntingly beautiful country called Nor Marie. We are supernatural spiders the creation of the spider priest Pisces, he's also our leader, and unlike our great spider ancestors before us, who were looked down upon, scorned and murdered, because they were creepy, eight legged freaks of the earth, created by mother nature. We are the lucky ones because Pisces created us in the image and likeness of humans and so is he. Auntie ARANHA looked like an Irish princess in a glamorous, cloud-white, velvet victorian wedding gown. To us spiders, VORNALLA and Pisces is like royalty they're treated with the upmost respect. After all, Pisces is the one who created us, he is the reason we lived.
All of the family would come- the entire spider pack- the Lucas, the WALCKENAER'S, the SICARIIDAE'S, the TROMBICULA'S and the THERIDIIDAE'S. These are the five main spider families, and over time the families generated int o thousands, we was sure that one day all spiders would rule the earth and the people on it, but for now, we was content with being in our own country underneath Dublin Ireland. Although we lived underneath the ground of Dublin Ireland we did not have one bit of Irish blood in us; we carried a strange Island accent. We sneaked up into the streets of Dublin Ireland through man holes whenever we had the opportunity to and hope we never got caught by any of the Irish.
The SICARIIDAE'S is the first most powerful and wealthiest family of the spider pack. The SICARIIDAE'S are brown recluse spiders, they are self-made TRILLIONAIRES, they made diamond and pearl jewelry and lived in a large, elegant castle. The WALCKENAER'S are the second most powerful and richest spider family, they are black widow spiders- the self-made billionaires- they made a bitter sweet perfume called Floriental created from the fruits of the forest. The WALCKENAER'S lived in a large, glamorous palace. The people of the underground worlds craved for their perfume, and bought it by the dozens.
The Lucas was the third most powerful and richest spider family, they are the garden spiders- the self-made multi- millionaires; renowned in the underground worlds as the writing spiders. A-list best selling authors and top notch publishers, the owners of Silk Publishing. The Lucas's lived in a luxurious ARGIOPE Chateau Manor. The TROMBICULA'S are chigger spiders- millionaires- the TROMBICULA'S are the blacks their skin is pale-yellow like the other spider's in the pack, and they spoke with a type of JAMAICAN accent and sing like angels. They own four of the grandest and most popular restaurants in the underground country, Nor Marie.
The TROMBICULA'S live in a large, marvelous country cottage. And last in the spider pack, the THERIDIIDAE family- American House Spiders- the THERIDIIDAE'S live an average life, they're high class and well educated: Secretaries, teachers, law enforcement, Photographers, bankers, doctors, lawyers and news reporters. And there are members in the THERIDIIDAE family that work hard labor jobs as cooks, housekeepers, janitors and bartenders. Yet, they live well, residing in a nice big, cozy log cabin home. Each family live under the same roof.
Each house hold contains a gorgeous dinette throne room where the family's dine for breakfast, a noon time brunch, supper and dinner. A whiny, melodrama opera music played softly in the distance. The seats was the color and shape of each spider family's mark. High in the ceiling above the long glass table a breath taking precious, round, baby-blue, daytime star scape ceiling contained a few fluffy white clouds the size of a large moon resembled a realistic sky. It's amazing! The remainder of the ceiling inside the dinette throne room was midnight-black with small diamond and pearl stars.
The wedding ceremony itself was to be the highlight of the day and the talk in the underground country of Nor Marie. The wwedding would take place at the Devonian Temple. The inside of the Temple was adorned with ARANHA'S favorite colors of purple, white and beige. ARANHA'S signature color is purple. Purple, white and beige candles was lit and put in every window inside the sanctuary of the temple. Fake precious rose bushes placed neat and pretty around the outside of the Altar and a row ascending the stairs. Leading up into the choir stand on both ends of the short carpeted steps were a natural color of green with purple roses.
Two tall candles stand with three white ritual candles in them stood on each side of the altar. Soft flower petals of beige, purple and white is scattered on the floor down the center aisle and around the altar in the brides honor. A beautiful melody played in the background as the wedding guest arrived, some in white horse drawn carriages while others arrived in horses pulling buggies that was decorated beautifully to fit the days occasion.
Inside the large, old fashion Villa kitchen the wedding planner Harold THERIDIIDAE scurried about the place giving out instructions to the staff on the proper arrangements and making sure the Temple stayed clean and orderly. The wedding reception will be held outside the Temple in the front garden. The food was put on a large buffet stand and placed in the garden on a long grand table with all the other foods and drinks. The finest dishes will be served: caviar, six different garden salad dishes, and vegetables and fruits of every kind. Spiders do not eat meat because they are vegetarians.
A thousand bottles of red wine and sparkling champagne will be served in elegant, jet-black spider goblets with thin, blood-red lining around the top of the spider goblets. The wedding decoration is the garden of Eden theme, the scenery looked as if ARANHA and Pisces wedding ceremony had been made in heaven.
The love between two human spiders as beautiful and powerful as ARANHA WALCKENAER and the spider Priest Pisces was like great magic to the other spiders like them and to the humans that lived underground in the other worlds. The couple was considered as royalty to all that lived underground. Wouldn't it be wonderful to watch something so beautiful take place, such as a wedding, between two different people as us humans where no danger are involved and everyone could get along and live and act like normal peoples?
Sometimes, I wonder about the supernatural spiders and what would really happen if they were to have been reality instead of fiction? Well, for one thing, they wouldn't like being judged by the people, and I know we all have a right to our own opinion about things just as we have them about spider. Some or most people seem to believe that the spider is a creepy creature that crawls up walls and make creepy spider webs and are dangerous by poison and it is mostly true. Some spiders aren't harmful at all. Take the daddy long leg are the THERIDIIDAE'S the American House Spiders. These types of spiders and their cousins aren't harmful at all as afr as biting a person or even poisoning them for that matter. Their fangs are too short to bite. I know that other spiders are a dangerous threat to humans and they are poison such as the black widow spider whom I call the WALCKENAER family and the brown recluse whom I call the SIACRIIDAE'S in my story. In my imagination I see spiders as being able to live and look as normal as most humans. I also see them as creative and having wisdom, industriousness and one of the best or intelligent spinners of the spider webs.
I write spiders in this manner so that the people will see them different and hope that they will come to like them and not think of them as some creepy crawling freak.
