Alarming report about war in Afghanistan.

Posted on at

A study called Costs of War which was conducted by Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies claims that war in Afghanistan since the 2001 US-led invasion that overthrew the Taliban regime and sparked an insurgency has killed almost 100,000 people, and wounded the same number. The study also claims that the annual figures for killed and wounded in recent years have been on the rise instead of any decline. So, it can be concluded that the war in Afghanistan is not ending; it is rather getting worse.
