It’s so alarming these days when you travel. Keeping all your things in one luggage to keep all your belongings, and you even paid a baggage fee just to make sure you luggage is safe. But then shockingly, this is what your luggage looked like:

My cousin spent almost a month vacation here in Cebu. Upon returning to Australia, she had a connecting flight from Cebu to Singapore and Singapore to Sydney. She and her husband arrived safely in Sydney International Airport, but her luggage did not. This is how her luggage looked like upon claiming it. Upon inspecting her luggage, she found out that her Casio Baby-G shock watch is missing.

The canister of her Casio Baby-G watch is now empty. What surprised her is this, her Baby-G watch below

has been replaced with an ordinary watch. Refer photo below.

The theft left an evidence on my cousin's luggage. Good thing my cousin wore her most expensive watch. What made it heartbreaking is that she courted her husband many times just to buy her the Baby-G watch. Has sentimental value indeed.

She had no idea where the stealing happened. Could it be in Mactan Cebu International Airport or in Singapore Changi Airport. Her cousin who worked in MCIA suggested to send an e-mail to Singapore Airlines so they can investigate this incident. So absurd. This incident is so rampant now. Just couldn't believe that my cousin is one of the victims.

The damage has been done and all we can do now is to be more watchful with our important belongings. Always hand carry your belongings whenever you travel. Be mindful and be safe always.
