Albarracin - Spain

Albarracín is a Spanish town, in the region of Teruel, some piece of the self-ruling group of Aragon. As per the 2007 enumeration (INE), the region had a populace of 1075 tenants. Albarracín is the capital of the rugged Sierra de Albarracín Comarca.albarracín is a beautiful town encompassed by stony slopes and the town was proclaimed a Monumento Nacional in 1961.the town is named for the Moorish Al Banū Razín family that once had been overwhelming in the territory amid the time of Muslim command in the Iberian Peninsula.

 

From 1167 to 1300, Albarracín was a free lordship known as the Sinyoría d'albarrazín which was built after the allotment of the Taifa of Albarracín under the control of Pedro Ruíz de Azagra. Dwindle III of Aragon in the end prevailed over it in 1284, and the decision family, the House of Azagra was ousted. The last individual to really hold the title of Señor de Albarracín was Juan Núñez I de Lara, despite the fact that his child, Juan Núñez II de Lara proceeded as the faker to the title until 1300 when the city and its properties were formally consolidated into the Kingdom of Aragon.

 

The medieval town of Albarracín owes its name to the Muslim pioneer Ibn-Racin, in spite of the fact that there is confirmation that the site has been settled since ancient times. The beautiful old town with its tight cobbled boulevards and houses made of stone, mortar and wood, goes again to the tenth century when the Castle, the two towers and the Church of Sta. Maria were manufactured.
