Alberto Moreno insists he's seen enough desire and character from his new Liverpool teammates over the last three months to convince him they can bring a recent disappointing run of results to a swift halt.
Brendan Rodgers' side are currently without a win in the Barclays Premier League since Queens Park Rangers on October 19, when they emerged victorious from a frantic final eight minutes to secure a 3-2 triumph.
From there, Hull City earned a goalless draw at Anfield; Newcastle United inflicted a reversal at St James' Park before Chelsea departed Merseyside with all three points after a hotly-contested clash at the weekend.
However, Moreno is adamant that the squad's younger players are desperate to show their quality - and that senior members of the group, such as club captain Steven Gerrard, have enough experience to steady the ship.
"I have a lot of confidence in [the squad] as they do in me," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "I think that's very important - the fact that, as a group, we all believe and share that same confidence within the dressing room.

"I think that sooner or later we will be back on the right track. We are a very young group of players and that's important because when the time comes to work hard, we will always be going all out at 100 per cent, which is also key.
"We also have some more experienced players like Gerrard, Lucas Leiva and Glen Johnson, who help us all, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. I think that's vital too and I am convinced that in the end we will turn things around."
Chelsea's victory at Anfield was a third consecutive loss in the space of seven days for Moreno and co, who were downed by Newcastle and defeated by the reigning European champions, Real Madrid, at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Many of the first-team have now departed to represent their respective countries during the international break; however, Moreno will remain at Melwood, where attentions now turn to Crystal Palace next weekend.
The Spaniard admits an air of disappointment pervaded the club's training base when the squad regrouped on Tuesday, but insists staff and players were keen to quickly raise the collective spirit.
"It's not something you forget easily because they were three defeats, and in the last of them against Chelsea, in spite of us having played well we just could not get the result," admitted the former Sevilla man.
"But everyone here is always lively and up-beat and you get to cope with it all because everyone here is positive. The training sessions are always lively and good fun, just like all the people at the club. I think that's important when you need to respond positively and move on from these difficult moments.
"The players, the coaching staff, including the manager and everyone who works closely with us, we all feel a bit disappointed. For a team it's hard to take when you lose three games on the bounce, it's pretty tough.
"But I believe that this team has what it takes to bounce back. I think that with hard work, and when this international break is over, we'll all be working together again to take the club forward."
