Dreaming of a particular person
Have you experience dreaming of a particular person at night and then you have seen or met that person the following day? Yes I had such a dream a lot of times. I mean a person living far from you, or someone you haven’t seen for quite some time appear in your dream and suddenly meet him or her accidentally the following day. Strange isn’t it? But I think there’s is a connection between that dream and the meeting afterwards.
I’ve been in this place before
How about a feeling that you have been in a place you actually visited for the first time but you really felt you’ve been there before? This happen to me many times and I was thinking maybe such incident occur in my dreams that is why I had that feeling. I shared this dream to some of my friends and found out that they also had the same feelings when in a place never been before. So I am not alone with this experience. How about you?

There was also some point of my life wherein I had a recurrent dream about falling from great heights. I was really puzzled about it and I believe there is something, a message that someone or something wanted to convey to me that is why during that time I had that dream almost every night. Sometimes had this strange dream of flying and being chased by unknown person and sometimes falling at the same time.

Dreaming of someone you admired and loved
I think this is very common, and I’m sure a lot of you experienced this when you were young and in love, that you dream of the person you admired most almost every night. And perhaps it’s just a result of thinking too much about that person. I’m not sure about the exact explanation but I read somewhere that when you think about someone often during the day, chances are that person will appear in your dreams when you sleep.

There are people who were given the talents and skills to interpret ones dreams, having such ability is something powerful. But I learned also that the best person or more proficient to interpret your dream is yourself and not anyone else. Do you believe it?

So what is a dream?
According to Wikipedia, “A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. Dream interpretation is the attempt at drawing meaning from dreams and searching for an underlying message. The scientific study of dreams is called oneirology. - Wikipedia

Personally, I would love to learn about the skills of analyzing and interpreting dreams and share it to people who need an answer of their recurring dreams. In that way I might be able to help people who are bothered with something and that their dreams are actually sending a message which is hard to fathom by themselves alone so they need help from other people.
There are actually a lot of theories of dreams that draws different meaning, others simply think dreams as just a product of random brain stimulation so there might not be really any reason or meaning at all. Although other people also believed that dreams were direct messages from deceased persons, but whatever it is I’m sure you are also interested to acquire such ability to interpret dreams, so continue reading to learn more about it.

According to Wikipedia,
Dreams mainly occur in the rapid-eye movement (REM) stage of sleep—when brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. REM sleep is revealed by continuous movements of the eyes during sleep. At times, dreams may occur during other stages of sleep. However, these dreams tend to be much less vivid or memorable. The length of a dream can vary; they may last for a few seconds, or approximately 20–30 minutes. People are more likely to remember the dream if they are awakened during the REM phase. The average person has three to five dreams per night, and some may have up to seven; however, most dreams are immediately or quickly forgotten. Dreams tend to last longer as the night progresses. During a full eight-hour night sleep, most dreams occur in the typical two hours of REM. - Wikipedia

Lastly, dreams usually have varying natures, it may be frightening, sometimes exciting or magical, sometimes melancholic, adventurous, and also sexual. And the events or happenings in dreams are generally outside the control of the dreamer. Definitely, one cannot dictate what will happen in his or her dreams.
So does anyone of you had a particular dreams in the past wherein you were able to analyze and interpret it? Or had someone interpreted id for you? Once again, please feel free to comment below for your insights regarding the topic. I will be citing some common dreams in my next blog with its interpretation or meaning based on the opinion of dream experts.
