Dear friends Chakwal is the most amazing city of Punjab province of Pakistan and it has many historical places in it. I will now tell you some initial background about Chakwal.
About Chakwal City:

Chakwal city is located in the Pothohar area of Punjab. The city is 90 kilometers away from the capital city Islamabad. Chakwal city is also capital and its mother language is Punjabi. Although Saraiki and Pothohari languages are also spoken here.

Chakwal is also very close to M2 motorway near Balkasar interchange and can be reached in 20 minutes from here. Chakwal city has numerous places which are very famous. Majority of Chakwal is serving under armed forces and almost all graveyards of Chakwal has at least one person buried who sacrificed for the country under Pakistan Army.

People of Chakwal are very brave and hardworking. As said above that majority is working under armed forces but the initial work is farming. Our people work with full patience and devotion and no one tries to skip or fraud in the job. People of Chakwal are very loving and sympathetic. They help each other and try to work in the group.

People of Chakwal wear shalwar qameez and usually wear the jacket on the suit. The women also wear the almost same dress of Shalwar Qameez and with Dupatta. In offices and schools, people wear pant coat and three peace dress and also wear jeans. But this dress is often used in the city area and in villages people wear only Shalwar Qameez.

Chappar Bazaar Chakwal is almost the oldest bazaar of Chakwal and very common and most busy market. Here you can find what you want and almost every category of shops are available. In Chakwal Chappar bazaar you can find amazing things and rates are also very cheap here. This market is very old and rare.
Chappar bazaar is the very good bazaar for shopping with family and friends. here are also hotels for spending the night if you are not from Chakwal. You can also get foods and drinks at very cheap rates here.
Talagang Road Chakwal:

Talagang road has now become a good market for visitors and shopping. Talagang road has many shops of high quality such as Stylo mall, Bachat mall and many others with modern brands. Here you can buy your desired things easily because of wide parking and low rush of people.
Rawalpindi Road Chakwal:
Rawalpindi road has many clinics and hospitals but on this road, you can also find some huge malls and shopping centers now. Rawalpindi road has also numerous hotels and restaurants. This road is now under construction for the better experience.
Tehsil Chowk Chakwal:
Tehsil chowk is the heart of Chakwal and has major mobile and computer market and here you can also find government emergency hospital where medical facilities are provided. Tehsil chowk has also numerous medical centers for buying medicines.

Kalar Kahar Chakwal:

Kalar kahar is only 25 km away from Chakwal city and this very beautiful area for visitors. Kalar Kahar is located in the beautiful mountains and this one of the best areas of Chakwal.
Kallar Kahar (Urdu: كلّر كہار) is a town and subdivision (Tehsil) of Chakwal District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital of Kallar Kahar Tehsil.[1]This beautiful place is famous for the natural garden of loquat trees, Salt Water Lake with beautiful species of peacocks. People traveling from Lahore to Islamabad, prefer to stay here for recreation at the bank of salty water Lake.

Kalar Kahar city has also a good market and here you will find everything that you need. Here are also hotels and restaurants for people who come from other cities. They can live here and enjoy easily.
Kalar Kahar has a beautiful lake which looks very cool and you can also hire the boat to see the lake and enjoy. Kalar Kahar has also beautiful trees and water canals.

Kalar Kahar can be reached through M2 motorway because here is also interchange which is also used to go Choa Saidan Shan and Chakwal as well.
The atmosphere of Kalar kahar is very cool due to trees and plants.
Katas Raj Temples:
The Katas Raj Temples (Punjabi, Urdu: کٹاس راج مندر, Sanskrit: कटासराजशिवमन्दिरम्), also known as Qila Katas,[2] are several Hindu temples connected to one another by walkways.[2] The temples form a complex surrounding a pond named Katas which is regarded as sacred by Hindus.[3]The complex is located in the Potohar Plateau region of Pakistan's Punjab province. The temples are located near the town of Kallar Kahar, and are near the M2 Motorway.

Katas Raj temples are also very beautiful. This visiting point is very famous among the visitors who come to Chakwal. These temples are connected with old Hindu people who come here for worship. These temples are now managed by Pakistani government and security and further maintenance is also provided here by Government organization. Temples are covered with boundary wall and the whole area is now secured so that no one can harm these ancient buildings.
Katas temples are very beautiful and these buildings show us the best manufacturing system of old people. Katas temples are located in the mountain area of Choa Saidan Shah and going to this area is now very easy because the road is constructed recently.
