 First off all, an "wallet" is similar to a bank account. It allows you to receive bitcoins, store them, and then send them to others. There are plenty of wallets from which you can choose but you need to take in case this factors:

You can get bitcoins by using faucets, games, buying them, mining, social networks, refer or cellphone games.

Now it’s the problem of the bitcoin price. It may be good for BTC being so expensive but that only means that the rarity of them is higher which means its hard to find.
