I just watched the first episode of Season 4. I don't even know what to think yet!

I loved season 1.
Season 2 was my favorite [doesn't hurt that I'm Catholic for that either].
Season 3 was less, in my estimation, in ranking - but still great...

All that said, I was reading the reviews on Amazon about this first episode of Season 4 and there were some people that wanted to toss it aside immediately -- I *know* that's a mistake.

Those writers, God love those horrifying people, always manage to step it up a notch whenever you think whatever you're seeing is as frightening/twisted/demented as you can get. That's right about the time when they go, "Ah, no, give it a second....we're going to make your head explode... right after this commercial..."

Also, everyone should have a shrine to Jessica Lange in their house.

Man, I love that show...
