Today is nearly over for me here in the UK. It was my birthday today and I have had an eventful weekend.

Yesterday, I went out with all my family. We went bowling and then we went to Toby Carvery for a meal. It was nice to get together and I enjoyed seeing my two brothers along with their girlfriends.

There was ten of us at the restaurant and we had lots of laughs and I received some lovely presents. It was, also, a hot and sunny day, so to end the evening we went back to my brother's house for tea. 

Before that, we went for a walk along the coast of Canvey Island. It was a warm evening and we enjoyed the breeze from the sea, which was refreshing.

Today, we just went for a picnic in the park near where I live along with some wine and lots of laughs with my husband, two sons and some friends. It was another sunny hot day.
