It kinda makes sense…a little
People waiting for a new smartphone or tablet announcement from Xiaomi today are probably going to be disappointed to learn that the Chinese company’s latest product is the Mi Air Purifier. Yes, you read that right – Xiaomi’s latest product is a home appliance, and a boon to asmathics everywhere.
Like the company’s Mi TV, the Mi Air Purifier can be controlled via your smartphone and reminds you when you need to change out the air filters. The specs of the new product look great as well: dual fans, four air ducts, capable of producing almost 10,000 liters of clean air per minute, and a 3-layered filter that’s capable of removing 99.99% of PM2.5 particles.
Xiaomi’s pegged the price of the Mi Air Purifier at RMB 899, or around Php 6470, with the filters costing RMB 149 or around Php 1072.
