Android users are now being given warnings that several popular apps which were seen on the official Google Play store would have most likely contained hidden code which had resulted in pop up of malicious ads.
Security firm Avast has revealed that one of such apps involved, which a free version of the card game called Durak was reportedly downloaded up to 10 million times, according to the data from Google Play's own counter.
Google has now reportedly blocked access while some experts say that problem might be less severe than feared.
