Angelina Jolie a famous actress of America born in LA, California on 4 June 1975. She is quoted as Highest Paid actress in Hollywood. She made her debut as a child actress at age of 7 when she played a role with her father in Lookin’ to Get Out. She began her film career after 10 years in Cyborg 2. She acted as Assassinator and as a Spy. It was a low budget movie and was released in 1993 though. This is what she said in her Interview about that Movie “Oh I threw up. I did I saw it and I threw up just nausea…. But I was 17 and I thought I was making a real movie which is odd, since there’s a scene when I decapitated and talking as one does but yah I saw it and I got really sick”

Her real break came in movie Hackers in 1995 when she was honored with a major role. The movie is about a group of Hackers who hacked New York Stock Exchange. Angelina Jolie played Kate Libby a.k.a Acid Burn. She appeared as a hardcore hacker who sometimes also appears as a gorgeous babe to create fantasy. At first the role was offered to Katherine Heigl but due to her commitment she refused to play the role.

In 2005 she was given a leading role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Brad Pitt also starred as John whereas Angelina Jolie as Jane Smith. Picture is about a bored and stagnating couple, a deceivingly dreary existence. Both acted as assassins working for adversarial agencies. At the end they discover that both of them were assigned to kill each other which sparked a series of serious attacks.
Her performances in Mighty Heart in 2007 and Changeling in 2008 earned her nomination for Academy Award for Best Actress. Later on she went to be pictured in Wanted 2008 and Salt in 2010.
The breakthrough that is considered to her biggest came in movie Maleficent being released in 2014. Jolie appeared as a Powerful Fairy who used to live in Moors with a crooked kingdom. In movie she being a fairy, fall in love with human (Stefan). Both were in contrast of eachother Jolie became a human protector whereas the love for fairy was overshadowed for affection of becoming a King for Stefan.
The then dying King Henry declares whoever kills Maleficent will be names as his success and in reward will also be able to merry her daughter Leila. Stefan somehow drugged Maleficent but was not able to kill her and in end decided to cut her Wings while tightening her up with Iron Chain and presented wings to King as a prove that he killed Maleficent. The movie was a commercial success and earned over $758 Million becoming her high grossing film till todate and fourth highest grossing movie of 2014.
Angelina is not only famous for her filming career but also for humanitarian efforts. For her efforts she also received awards from different NGOs and Trusts, to mention Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. She is also Ambassador of Special Envoy for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) visiting War affected and Terrorism affected countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan. Angelina became patron of Harnas Wildlife Foundation.
Later on Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt established the Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Foundation. She also has attended World Economic Forum annual meeting in 2005. She received wide recognition for her humanitarian work and in August 2002 from Church World Services she received inaugural Humanitarian Award. She was also the first recipient of the Citizen of the World Award by United Nations in October 2003 and in same year she was awarded Global Humanitarian Award by UNA-USA.
Her personal life has always been a subject of debate. As she was first married to Jonny Lee Miller 28 March 1996 but just after 18 months she got divorced. She later on got married with Billy Bob Thornton on 5 May 2000 but that marriage also didn’t last long and on 27 May 2003 she got divorced. After 11 years on 23 August 2014 she finally decided to marry again and this time Brad Pitt was the lucky one. Till now they have six children of whom three have been internationally adopted.
