2. People frequent you with their word-meaning and grammar queries as they feel too lazy to use Google.

 

3. And mock you when you’re unable to solve them because according to them you don’t have the prerogative to make mistakes or get confused.

 

 

4. When people stumble upon a new fancy writer, they come up to you and expect your approval on it. “Dostoevsky is so cool, right?”

 

5. You are bombarded with requests like “Can you help me in improving my English?” and “Would you give me tuitions?”, some even have the audacity to ask for the ‘trick’ you used.

 

6. You are usually assumed to have a degree in English or Mass Communication.
