An Italian aid worker was recently shot dead by miscreants in Bangladesh and the responsibility was claimed by the ISIS group. Again just within a week a second foreigner who was a 66-year-old Japanese man has been gunned down in the country. It is reported that the Japanese who was a frequent visitor to Bangladesh and worked on a farming project in Rangpur was headed to an agriculture farm on the outskirts of northern Rangpur city in a rickshaw when he was shot thrice in the chest, shoulder and hand by the yet-unidentified assassins. In this case too, the ISIS jihadist group has later claimed the killing on Twitter.
