At Apple’s press event yesterday, the company announced that they would be launching Apple Pay next Monday the 20th of October.
Apple pay will be enabled on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus when iOS 8.1 is released, and iOS 8.1 will also launch next Monday.
As well as Apple Pay, iOS 8.1 will bring a range of other new features to Apple’s iOS devices, which will include the return of Camera Roll, this was something that was removed in iOS 8.0.
iOS 8.1 will also bring a beta version of iCloud Photo Library to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, this will sync all of your photos accross all of your devices, and you will also be able to backup all of your photos to iCloud Drive.
We should have more details on iOS 8.1 when it is released on Monday, hopefully it will also fix some of the other issues that people have had with iOS 8.
