Is it waajib for Allah to send messengers?
It is not a must (wajib) for Allah to send messengers to us. He has blessed us by sending messengers to us so as to guide us in knowing how we can get a better place in heaven, by letting us know through them what are the things that will please Allah and what things we sould avoid so we do not displease him .
Who is a Prophet?
The definition of Nabi (prophet)...He should be a human being of male gender and gets "Wahi"from Allah that is he should be able to get instructions and orders from Allah by means of any of the following three methods. Firstly by direct conversation with Allah called Kalaam, secondly through an angle, and thirdly through his dreams.
Can a women be a Prophet?
A woman cannot be a prophet.
How many approximately Prophets are there?
224,000 in one hadith and 124,000 in another. It is best to say that there were approximately 124,000 Prophets.
What is the difference between a Prophet and a Messenger ?
Difference between a Prophet (nabi) and a messenger (rasool)...is that a messenger comes with a new prophecy, a new book, a new set of rules, a new constitution etc, whereas a Nabi only continues with the prophecies of thoese who have been before him in a continuation of their teachings and guidance of the ones before him.
Are all the Prophets messengers?
All Messengers are also prophets , but all prophets are not .
