Army operation

 

Military operations of Pakistan.

Through the country has been in the grip of terrorism since the attack of 9/11 in the US, the government of Pakistan decided to take an action against this terrorism. Pakistan decided to use the full force of state against militants in 2007 after the “Lal Masjid Operation” in Pakistan.

                The following are major military operations carried out by armed forces against local and foreign militants in the troubled tribal areas and Khber pakhtoonkhwa.

Swat Operation RAH-I-Haq-I (Battle of Swat)

It was started on 25, October 2007.

The first phase of Operation Rah-i-haq was launched in the scenic Swat valley and Shangla District of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province against the Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-Moohammadi(TNSM), it was led by Maulvi Sufi Mohammad. (the man below in picture.)

                                         

 It was a First Battle of Swat.  More than 3,000 infantry troops were there to do this operation against TNSM.

Many of soldiers Shaheed, many of TNSM’s men got killed, seriously injured in this battle of Swat. This battle of Swat end on November 7, 2007.

Swat Operation RAH-I-Haq II (Battle for Shangla)

 

12 November, again black day for Pakistan, again 5,000 Army Troops are there for rescue. This operation was advanced from Phase 1. In this operation 100 militants dead.

This operation was basically a clearance operation.

This operation was led by Mullah Fazlullah.

It was end on 27 November. so the Shanga were clean and safe.  

Swat Operation RAH-I-Haq III

Shangla district were retaken by Pak Army, Reach Matta, Khwazakhela, Charbagh and other sensitive areas were occupied by militants. Imam Dehri, the native village of Maulana Fazlullah was in the eager eyes of Pak Army.Pak Army cleared Imam Dehri, it was the headquarters of Mulana Fazlullah he also had a Radio Station there

. More than 50 militants were killed in four days of this little battle.

On December 5, Pakistani Army got full control on all these areas which I mention above. That was a peace full day.

Then

Its sound horrible that in 2009 Taliban got more then 70% control on Swat.

        

This valley was again in there blooded hand.

The era of Ceasefire in Swat

 

                

Pakistani Government officially announced this news on 16, February 2009 that Government would allow the Sharia Law, which Taliban want to implement in all those regions which were under their control.
