The Army vet who stabbed ex- New York Knick Chris Copeland outside of Chelsea hot spot 1OAK took a plea deal in Manhattan Supreme Court last week. Shevoy Bleary-Murdock, 23, admitted to slashing then Indiana Pacers power forward in the stomach outside the club on April 8, 2015. According to Bouncer Chronicles part of the plea deal for Bleary-Murdock is to serve 9 months worth of weekends in jail and 5 years probation.
According to police reports Bleary-Murdock had tried to intervene in an argument between the basketball player and his girlfriend, Katherine Saltara. Saltara was also stabbed in the right elbow, under her breast and on the buttox when she jumped on the knife-wielding Bleary-Murdock.
